Worship at SCC

(Scroll down for details of service times and preachers)

Whether you have never been to church before but are curious, have not been to any church for a while (or a LONG while), normally attend another church or are just visiting the area – you are welcome to join us! We are a relaxed and inclusive group who don’t mind what you wear (we have had people arrive in pyjamas and dressing gown!), what your backstory is, where you come from. We don’t worry about how wealthy (or not) you are, what your orientation is – or even what teams you might support!

We have a range of different worship leaders, styles and music; over the course of several weeks there will be something for everyone. People take part in leading worship as well as reading lessons, providing music and leading prayers – but this is not compulsory! Those who just wish to sit quietly are welcome to do so.

10:30am each Sunday at Sherbourne Community Church, lasting approximately an hour.

Other ways to access worship

The URC Daily Devotions team offer Sunday services via the Daily Devotions email list.  Each Sunday, usually available from 9am, the team produce a service in both written and audio format. These have the feel of a service on the radio.

If you would like to access this form of worship you can sign up to receive the Devotions Emails.  Go to devotions.urc.org.uk

This takes place at 6.30pm on the second Sunday of each month, at our sister church, Foleshill Road URC (397 Old Church Road, CV6 7DT). A relaxed, gentle, reflective time of worship with an Iona-style focus on our stewardship of the Earth as well as our relationship with God. All are welcome!
