As we journey through another year with new opportunities for change and transformation, we focus on the needs of the community and how we can best address those needs through prayer and actions.
How does the Christian message of God’s love and care reach people where they are in life?
The five marks of mission offer a framework for mission and ministry work. 1. To proclaim the Good News of the Kingdom; 2. To teach, baptise and nurture new believers; 3. To respond to human need by loving service; 4. To transform unjust structures of society; 5. To strive to safeguard the integrity of creation, and sustain and renew the life of the earth.
May we go in Christ’s name to tell, teach, tend, transform and treasure. (Isaiah 58:10, Acts 20:35)
